During the construction phase, you have been attentive to details and responsive to calls and email replies and have kept me posted of progress over the distances here in Singapore. The upgradings and construction of the two villas (House 58 and 68, Spyglass Grove) were completed according to schedule and the villas were well received by our guests. We have receive many accolades in particular from the Chief Of Defence Forces, Singapore Armed Forces, LT Gen Desmond Kuek, who stayed at the villa after the upgrading.

Sam Karkar has completely transformed our bathroom from an old, disgusting, poorly-designed facility to a modern, functional ensuite which is a pleasure to use. The pipes were rusting and corroded, the toilet leaking and the badly-stained tiles and bath added to the shabby appearance.
Due to the age of the apartment, the work involved removing plaster to access the pipes, re-aligning walls and avoiding damage to adjoining apartments. The tiny space has been utilised to its maximum and we now have a modern full-length shower, sink and toilet.
The whole room appears light and airy and the mirrored wall cupboards and vanity provide adequate storage space and spaciousness. The work was completed within the estimated time period and budget and to a high standard. We are really pleased with Sam’s work and warmly recommend him for renovations.

We just had our bathroom, laundry and wc renovated by Sam Karkar from Effective Property Maintenance. The quality, workmanship and attention to detail were all at high standards. Being the only bathroom in the house, Sam and his team worked quickly yet professionally to ensure our bathroom was ready for use as quick as possible. As an owner-operator, Sam was always on site to ensure progress was running smoothly and according to plan.

I was totally green when it came to bathroom renovations, so after doing a little research on line, I contacted three businesses (including ones you hear advertise all the time) After having two come through, I was getting a little depressed as none of them seemed to be interested in doing the project I wanted within my budget.

Thankyou Sam and your great team for a fabulous new bathroom. We love our twin showers and they are amongst the best we have used anywhere in the world and that is saying something!!!
The high standard of the finished renovation completed in the severe time constraints (5-6 days) was remarkable considering the old bathroom had to be totally demolished before the main job could begin.
The final price was very fair considering the problems along the way (the old bathroom was nearly 40 years old) and Sam being a good communicator kept us well informed along the way.
We shall definitely throw any work your way if the opportunity arises and we are happy for others to view your work here.
We had procrastinated for so long over this renovation and we were dreading the experience but those fears proved to be very much unfounded as the worksite was always left in a clean and tidy state as far as was absolutely possible under the circumstances.
